'Fino de Aroma' or 'Fine Flavour' is the term used to distinguish between cocoa beans which are grown for their flavour ahead of all other qualities (hardiness, yield, etc...). The remaining cocoa beans are normally referred to as 'bulk' or 'ordinary' cocoa.
Fino de Aroma cocoa beans are produced from Criollo orTrinitario cocoa-tree varieties, while bulk cocoa beans come from Forastero trees. The share of fino de aroma cocoa in the total world production of cocoa beans is approximately 5%.

We currently have a part time vacancy for an enthusiastic cook to join the existing team at our award winning café in Ramsbottom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation & service as well as the cleanliness & hygiene of a busy kitchen.
Experience is preferred & you must posses basic culinary skills & have an interest in creating quality food from the freshest ingredients.
This is a part time position working approximately 25 hours a week which will include one weekend day each week. A competitive hourly rate in excess of national minimum wage will be offered.

We currently have a full time vacancy for an enthusiastic school/college leaver to complete an fully funded & paid Apprenticeship with us here at our award winning café & chocolate shop in Ramsbottom.
Duties are varied & you will learn all aspects of the business including food preparation, barista & front of house, chocolate making, retail and customer service. This is a full time paid position for either 1 or 2 years with a view to the applicant developing a successful career in the retail or hospitality industry.
The apprenticeship is supported by Myerscough College who will deliver an Apprenticeship in the workplace based around a choice of units covering food preparation, food service, retail sales, customer service & management.
No previous experience is necessary but applicants must be punctual, reliable & well presented. A general interest in food & drink is also a big advantage.
